The Oxford EP:
Recorded during a rehearsal session at the Big Song Music House in Oxford, OH in September of 2017, The Oxford EP features two songs by Michael G, two songs by Peter D, an old favorite from the Mexican movies, and an unreleased Ronstadt Generations song by and featuring ‘Papa’ Mike Ronstadt. The Oxford EP will officially release the night of September 3 at the show at Club Congress.
The Band:
Ronstadt Brothers continue a musical tradition passed from generation to generation in the Ronstadt family. Michael Gilbert and Peter Dalton, Ronstadt Brothers, represents five generations of the family’s musical traditions in North America. Along with innovative drummer Aaron Emery, they present a new and fresh take on the traditional Southwestern and Mexican songs of their family’s heritage while offering innovative original material to millennials discovering the treasure of roots music. An aural illustration of inception to creation, this musical journey will take you from the past to the present steeped in the Americana vein. Carrying forward a sound closely tied in its infancy to their aunt Linda and their father Michael, join the Ronstadt Brothers on their musical journey through the Post-Modern American West.
