P.D. Ronstadt & The Co. release their debut Album, Standing in the Shadows of Giants. A project started in December of 2018 that ran into many delays along the way, mainly the pandemic and finally realized in 2022. This long awaited album features Peter Dalton Ronstadt (guitars, banjo, vocals), Bryan Matyjasik (drums), Sam Eagon (bass), Alex Flores (tenor sax), Bobby Ronstadt (accordion, piano, vocals), Katie Arellano (vocals), Alvin Blaine (lab and pedal steel, dobro, weissenborn), Matt Rolland (violin), Michael G Ronstadt (cello, vocals), and Don Armstrong (banjo). Many of these players will be present at the album release concert at Hotel Congress on November 11 which will feature the album in full plus a set of The Co. favorites including songs by Papa Mike Ronstadt, old family favorites, songs in spanish, and of course songs by Peter Dalton Ronstadt. Though The Co. may continue in a new form, this will be one of two final performances featuring The Co. lineup we’ve known over these past six years.
